Meet Our Team

PHYSIOTHERAPISTS

Edward graduated from AUT in 2012 with his BHSc and completed his postgraduate Diploma of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy in 2015. He has worked in a variety of private practice clinics and been involved with football at both a domestic and international level. He is the Player/Physio for Nelson Suburbs in the South Island Premier League. He completed his FIFA diploma of football medicine in 2016.

Edward Sillars

BHSc(Physio), PGDip(musculo), FIFADip(Football med), MPNZ

Kimberley graduated from AUT in 2014 with her BHSc. She is qualified in advanced dry needling and completed her postgraduate Certificate of Western Acupuncture in 2016. She has worked in multiple private clinics and has a vast knowledge of musculoskeletal injuries. She is a qualified Pilates trainer and completed her FIFA diploma in football medicine in 2016. Kimberley is currently on maternity leave.

Kimberley Frost

BHSc(Physio), PGCert(WAcup), FIFADip(Football med), MPNZ

Glenn graduated from Otago University in 2005 with his BPhty (with credit). He has worked with musculoskeletal injuries in sports clinics for over 15 years. He is the Physio for the Marist Rugby Premier Team. He is qualified in advanced dry needling and trained in the management of BPPV (dizziness/vertigo). He completed his FIFA diploma of football medicine in 2018.

Glenn Ward

BPhty(Physio), FIFADip(Football med), MPNZ

Katie graduated from Otago University in 2020 with a BPhty (with credit). Katie is a member of Nelson Hockey and both plays and umpires hockey at a representative level. Having grown up in Nelson, Katie enjoys taking advantage of the national parks and outdoor activities Nelson has to offer. She completed her FIFA diploma in football medicine in 2020.

Katie Shaw

BPhty(Physio), FIFADip(Football med), MPNZ

Scott graduated from AUT in 2012 with his BHSc and went on to complete his advanced dry needling and post Graduate Certificate of Western Acupuncture in 2016. Scott has worked in several different private practice settings and has been involved in a vast variety of football up to National League Level. Scott also has previously worked with Olympic level weightlifters and has recently started competing in ultramarathons. Scott completed his FIFA diploma in football medicine in 2016.

Scott Wallace

BHSc(Physio), PGCert(WAcup), FIFADip(Football med), MPNZ

Rebecca graduated from Otago University in 2015 with her BPhty (with distinction), followed by her postgraduate certificate in physiotherapy (sport) in 2018 and postgraduate diploma in sports and exercise medicine in 2022. She has worked in a variety of private practices across New Zealand, gaining experience in sports and post-surgical rehabilitation, concussion management and age care.

Rebecca Peace

BPhty(Physio), PGDipSEM, PGCertPHTY (sport), MPNZ

Merlin graduated from Fontys University in Holland in 2017 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. She has worked in multiple private practices in Holland, Estonia, Australia and has settled in New Zealand. Merlin has vast experience working with professional football and basketball players, but also enjoys working with "weekend warriors", office workers, and the elderly. Merlin completed her FIFA diploma in football medicine in 2021.

Merlin Parkel

BPhty(Physio), FIFADip(Football med), MPNZ

Henry graduated from Otago University in 2023 with a BPhty (with Distinction). Henry plays football at a representative level and is involved as a Player/Physio with the Nelson Suburbs Premier Mens team in the Southern League. He is an A grade squash player previously playing at an International Level. Henry completed his FIFA diploma in football medicine in 2023.

Henry Aitken

Carly graduated from Otago University in 2013 with her BPhyty and completed her postgraduate Diploma of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy in 2018. She has worked in a number of private practice clinics and been involved with football at both a domestic and international level. Carly is currently the Physiotherapist for the NZ Woman's Football Ferns and has been part of the team since 2019.
